Hostal Encuentro - Cali

I always come back to this place because it's perfect for me. They helped me with currency exchange recommendations when I first stayed. Free Wi-Fi, shared kitchen, laundry, and more amenities. Coming back for the weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel! the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even organized a fun New Year's celebration following the Colombian tradition. the hostel itself is bright, airy, and very clean with cozy rooms and two large terraces offering stunning views of Cali and the mountains. the location in the San Antonio area is perfect, being centrally located and in a great neighborhood. the hostel also offers free WiFi, which is a big plus for young travelers like us.

Lack of privacy in the common bathroom area. Traffic noises in the morning were a bit disturbing.

Exceptional - I felt like a princess in a palace! The owners made me feel at home and the communal spaces were lovely. The breakfast was divine, but it would have been nice to have a little more privacy in the toilets and showers.

The property is conveniently located near several attractions, and the free breakfast and Wi-Fi are a nice touch. The outdoor swimming pool and terrace add to the relaxing atmosphere.

Just loved the uncertainty of not knowing if there would be hot water or not for a shower. Such a thrilling surprise!

The hostel was bright and clean, with cozy terraces offering fine views of Cali and the mountains. It was also centrally located in the vibrant San Antonio area. The guestrooms at Hostal Encuentro have a cozy and welcoming feel to them. I just loved the relaxed atmosphere and the simple yet comfortable furniture. It made me feel right at home as a budget traveler.

Personally, I would prefer having a private bathroom instead of a shared one. But hey, it's just my preference and others might not mind it at all.

I recently stayed at Hostal Encuentro for two weeks and it was a fantastic experience. The homely and family-run vibe created by Adolfo, the owner, and his family made me feel like I was part of their Cali local family. The hostel was spotless and spacious, with color-coded dorms that matched the bedding and decor. The bathroom was bright and had plenty of showers and toilets, with hot water and provided soap. The kitchen was huge and well-equipped, and the breakfast changed daily. The overall decor was cute and homely, with lots of little knickknacks. The welcoming staff made me feel right at home.

Adolfo, the owner, treated us like family and introduced us to other travelers. The dorms were color-coded, clean, and the beds were made daily. The spacious bathroom had hot showers and plenty of space to hang towels. The kitchen was well-equipped and never overcrowded. The daily changing breakfast was delicious and the hostel's decor added a homely touch.

I had such a memorable time at this colorful and familiar place in Cali. As soon as I arrived, the family owners were gathered together, watching a Colombia match. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The hostel itself was well-maintained and clean, with a vibrant and quirky decor. The communal bathrooms were spacious and private, and the daily breakfast was delicious. Although there wasn't air conditioning, the nights were still comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance to everything I wanted to explore and right beside a beautiful park. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Cali.
